Creston House was built in the early 1970's. The developer was Creston Investment and Development Corporation. The architectural firm was "Craig Salley & Associates, Architects, Inc."
Creston House consists of twelve buildings with five units in each (3 up / 2 down, total 60 units). There are sixteen garages.
When viewing each building from the parking lot, the unit letters are from left to right. Downstairs, it's A and then B. Upstairs, it's C, D, and then E.
As reported on the following St. Johns County page, Creston House is listed as 2.71 acres (parcel ID 1796390001).
We also own the adjoining parcel (1796500000). This is listed as 0.23 acres and was purchased on 4/5/2019 for a sale price of $240,000.00.
Creston House also owns unit 7B and rents it through the HOA. Here is its property tax record. In addition to owning 7B, we own the last garage on the south side, which is currently used by maintenance.
The second floor clubhouse (Jade) room above the HOA office is freely available for use by owners. See the HOA manager for access or to reserve it.
The top clubhouse room above the Jade room is currently not being used.
The HOA Management company that assists the HOA board in running Creston House is Coastal Reality. They provide two full-time, on-site employees: our HOA manager and a maintenance person.
Coastal Reality also manages many of our rentals with a portion of the rental proceeds going back to our HOA as revenue.

Based on our 2006 annual report, it appears that Coastal has been our management company for approximately 20 years.
In many cases, the Creston House HOA relies on Keystone Engineering for help with renovation and remediation projects. For example, Keystone conducted our recent Milestone Inspection.
